Burnaby artist Marjorie Wong’s art is now on display in my Community Office. Marjorie paints in acrylic and watercolour to create art that is full of life and colour. She continually explores different techniques, media and styles to add another dimension to her artwork. Her rendering of any subject reflects her own style and personality and her aim is to convey the moment and to draw the viewer in.
She has completed courses in watercolour, acrylic and life drawing at the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts and regularly attends workshops and demonstrations by well-known artists.
Her work has been exhibited at the Deer Lake Gallery, Shadbolt Centre for the Arts, Vancouver Court House, Place des Arts, Port Moody Arts Centre, Firehall Centre for the Arts and Tsawwessen Long House Gallery.
I am very pleased to be able to host her wonderful work in my Community Office. Please feel free to come to my office at 1833 Willingdon to enjoy her wonderful art.
