Burnaby Public Library is hosting an event for Celebrate World Refugee Day at Bob Prittie Metrotown Library. Hear the perspectives of a family doctor who served refugees at a Vancouver clinic and wrote a popular book about it, a professor from Syria living in Canada, and a former refugee who is now a settlement worker. This free event is offered in partnership with SFU International and Immigrant Services Society of BC. Registration is required.
